I mean vaccine have been rolling out since 2020 over a year now, vaccine distribution inequality and only few months protection all show vaccine is not the solution…without implementing strict lockdowns relying on vaccine to eradicate the virus is just a pipe dream…if it works, why Omicron cases soaring now?2022 what kind of other variant again? The whole journey is just like a mental captivity loop year after year torturing everybody watching or reading the news…like a ticking bomb, for example a sudden lockdown announcement.
Vaccine is also not 100% efficacy and short lived protection…even there’s a magical vaccine everyone should always allow to choose the way they want to protect their own health. Smoking is toxic and second hand smoke is polluting the fresh air and threatening other people’s health as well, why not tell smokers on how to live a life too…social distancing and working from home I don’t see why they wouldn’t work… If some people they don’t care and go clubbing is also their choice…
Reason many people hesitating about vaccine is they don’t see it’s necessary…if everyone I know they get very sick from this virus then I definitely will get vaccinated…if the reality is the opposite, you can’t convince people, then you tell it’s mandatory out from nowhere, I’m not sure if it is fair or not anymore.
If people have underlying health issues should be always cautious and take responsibilities of themselves, if you don’t go the pubs, wear masks, it’s hard to catch any virus…with vaccine you’ll need boosters to keep going…it doesn’t seem sustainable…
with social distancing and working from home…it’s also can reduce the spreading…Not like lockdown hurting peoples’ mental health and economy as well, it is not a smart move…give people rights to choose…but not mandatory and compulsory rules…it’s just a wrong trajectory, I don’t really think vaccine can win, given the preliminary datas…the characteristic of this thing is more like a flu,if vaccine works why our old friend flu is still with other, for decades if not centuries…
If we catch flu we’ll have symptoms, most of time, but COVID, there are a large number of people is asymptomatic…sometimes people have flu they don’t wear any masks, I think that is very irresponsible, people feel sick always should wear masks and rest maybe like rest at home…if everyone can do these simple small things, virus won’t be that easy to spread around…
Let people who feel sick have fever to cancel tickets for free, miss a meeting things like that, sick people go airplanes, it’s pretty irresponsible, it’s a closed space, packed with people…usually I don’t think their ventilation system is medical grade, maybe can change to those ones installed in hospital infectious diseases departments…I mean why not…
