Mainly I say everything feels the same it’s because still every authority in the world is labelling we’re in a pandemic. And as far as I know South Korea and India only died one person each in their 90s,70s with underlying health issues…from Omicron…with this huge infection only died two,perhaps milder than flu? I assume again I didn’t spend time to read the data and compare flu and Omicron just from real time news that I get a sense that Omicron is not risky…
Perhaps if ever this pandemic ends, I have a sense of feeling the redemption will be the Omicron… As I mentioned Omicron mild as acting like a booster to your immunity results in providing natural antibody in your body.
And news channels, one is called WION from India, there is a session called Gravitas, the anchor she is almost telling the whole world what to do, sounding like a mother giving lectures. I surprise people didn’t realise it. I don’t see any other channel is doing the same, they like to say China does things to catch attention I say her channel does exactly this- creating a title unrelated to the most of the content, her content if it is not reporting news would be lecturing. Very unique but disturbing. I didn’t even subscribe but YouTube always suggest new updates on my page. Every time I click I confirm my conclusions.
I feel better if news are just reporting without opinions and feelings…that should what news do. It will be boring for the reporters because everyone has their views on everything…or perhaps it’s just a way to influence people if that’s the purpose it is not quite ethical… And opinions should leave for experts to say like professors, ones with PhDs, ones are not quite black and white minded. Many news channels live for the clicks like Instagram needs followers to survive that’s why they are exacerbating everything to an extend sometimes disgust you. More and more news are running for profit their ultimate purpose not for serving the people,(I’m not saying news can’t be profitable although I also see there are plenty nonprofit news companies but running immorally it’s another story. There are millions of ways to earn money except exacerbating or presenting extremely opinionated ) more precisely to say instead of telling just what it is, but more interested in fear mongering, that’s the secret to captivate people’s attention to make them come back for more.There are plenty books and articles tell the science and explain how it works, just don’t fall a prey.
I might ramp up writing subjects on health and economics soon in future.
