If you had COVID already and you can have it again? It sounds like flu already š¬
COVID isn’t it just like flu, unlike other deadly virulent diseases like MERS or Ebola(I assume them, antibody will provide a lifetime protection or at least can protect you longer than 6mo unlike COVID antibody that short – even natural antibody won’t guarantee you from getting infected again like by other new COVID viriants, and something like TB once you survived would give a life time antibody protection maybe?).. so if scared of COVID then life can not be resumed anymore, cuz social distancing unpracticle if you work in an office, maybe it’s time to change the design of the offices by adding more windows maybešš if you want to get COVID even had being vaccinated just by socialising carelessly you will get again š if so any difference with the flu we know
But COVID, it mutates so easilyš„²just like all types of flu viruses.. today the vaccine might work 90% efficacy tomorrow might lower..(it takes at least three weeks for scientists to work out the efficacy toward new viriant) and the tricky thing is you’ll need boosters every 3-4 mo to keep it effective. I assume natural antibody will give longer protection than vaccines..even to find out that it is impossible as it is still novel, very ironic..
And if our immunity weakens we can get infected again. If someone needs to rely on vaccines to live a healthy life..that would be too vulnerable and futile..this is not going to be our last pandemic afterall. And the inequality in vaccine distribution really sounds like a joke..if daily production is 1.6B doses, (can produce that amount or we’re actually producing that amount everyday already) you’ll only need one week to produce all the vaccines for each person on the planet…so all those expired ones, misconducted ones just go into the landfills..and this COP summit about climate change just held isn’t it, very absurb..š š
