Watch(face) engraving

Watch face engraving is an old craft dating back centuries to pocket watches. It was a mark of luxury and craftsmanship. Today it’s primarily found in luxury, vintage or custom watches – most mass-produced watches have printed or applied dials instead.

What’s valuable:

-personlisation (names, dates, initials, monograms)

-each dial is unique no two are identical

-highly sought after in custom and bespoke watchmaking

-common in high-end Swiss, German or Japanese watches.
